Summarize
Albert's father went to the auction and bought a six month old foal. When he got home Albert thought the horse was the best looking horse he had ever seen and named him Joey because it rhymed with Zoey, the other mare. It was the first time Joey had been away from his mother and Albert was the only person who he felt comfortable around. Zoey also made him feel better in his strange surroundings. Albert spent many days with Joey making him feel safe and trained him by just walking him up down. He taught Joey to come whenever Albert whistled and the two became the best of friends. Albert' s father never liked the horse and one day took a bet with a man in the village that he could not teach Joey to plough within a week. He told Albert that he had one week to teach Joey how to plough or else he would lose the bet and then shoot Joey. Within one week Albert taught Joey with the help of Zoey and his father won the bet and he was able to keep the horse.
